International Projects

MRMU currently has a number of developments in the country of Georgia. Georgia is a beautiful country with a rich history at the intersection of Eastern Europe and Western Asia. It gained independence from the Soviet Union in 1991 and is now a politically stable, corruption-free investment destination with low business costs.

Real estate and hospitality are one of the fastest growing sectors of the Georgian economy. The city of Batumi in Georgia was a winner at the World Travel Awards in 2019 and 2020 as “Europe’s Leading Emerging Tourism Destination”, Forbes magazine recently named Batumi among the Best European Cities to Investment In for 2020 and it was also listed in Airbnb’s Top 19 Trending Destinations for 2019 with a 200% year on year increase in searches on the travel rental booking website.

MRMU has been involved with a number of developments in Georgia over the last ten years, including a data centre in its historic capital, Tbilisi. Current ventures are located in and around the city of Batumi, the capital of Adjara, an autonomous republic in southwest Georgia. Since 2010, the face of the city has been transformed by the construction of new high-rise landmark buildings and the renovation of the Old Town, and its economy is increasingly focused around tourism.

We believe that there is an opportunity for ventures catering to the ever-increasing tourist market in Batumi and have a number of projects underway that do just that.
